Key job responsibilities
• Collaborate on the brand’s annual plan consistent with the 3-year strategic plan including alignment and articulation of brand strategies and tactics to deliver both annual and long-term objectives.
• Develop a deep understanding of the demographics, psychographics, and behavioral drivers of target audiences through marketing research.
• Build brand engagement strategies based on candidate intelligence and competitive analysis.
• Help articulate the AWS employer brand positioning to internal and external audiences.
• Educate candidates, stakeholders, and partners on AWS’s Employer Value Proposition.
• Support the development and implementation of brand marketing campaigns.
• Collaborate across teams on programs that engage with current AWS builders to develop employer brand advocates.
• Develop and provide reporting on key initiatives and investments to senior leadership.
A day in the life
You will be a brand steward and will collaborate on the roadmap to increase awareness and positive perception of AWS as an employer of choice. You will engage with multiple internal and external stakeholders to build a relevant and attractive employer brand via building brand content and creative, implementing marketing campaigns, assisting in marketing research, and developing and managing programs to amplify AWS brand messages.

You will get to partner with a team of creative, hardworking, and welcoming professionals who make working remotely exciting, collaborative, and engaging. You will report to the Head of Brand Marketing for AWS Employer Brand, who will eagerly collaborate with you on the strategic vision for AWS’s employer brand.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
• 7+ years of relevant experience in brand building, brand management, or brand marketing
• BA/BS degree in business administration, marketing, communications, or related field.
• Proven experience building and executing marketing programs and campaigns.
• Proven experience using data to measure impact and identify optimization and growth opportunities.
• Proven performance at both strategic and tactical levels.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
• An MBA or other advanced degree, preferably business/marketing related.
• Work experience in the employer brand space.
• Experience conducting marketing research and developing actionable insights.
• Experience with creative and messaging testing.
• Ability to work independently and exercise high-judgement, particularly in narrow time frames and ambiguous circumstances.
• Ability to deliver results in a fast-paced, rapid-growth environment.
• Proven ability to be successful both as an individual contributor and in a team environment.
• Excellent communicator both verbally and written with ability to communicate with all levels of the organization.
