DHL Express is looking for a Global Sponsorship Manager, based in London.
The Global Sponsorship Manager’s prime responsibility is to work closely with Head of Global Sponsorships to fully support the effective activation of marketing strategies that ensure the contractual rights of DHL’s committed partnership portfolio are activated to a very high standard and performance - engaging and influencing customers, employees and fans on a global scale. In addition to supporting with the activation of the overall global sponsorship portfolio the Global Sponsorship Manager will also work closely with and support various countries across the global DHL network in relation to marketing content generation and customer hospitality surrounding contractual partnership rights. This will take place on a frequent basis and will require to be executed promptly and effectively in order to meet event deadlines.
YOUR TASKS
- Manage partnership creative and activation agencies at all levels from initial briefing through to execution of communications to include budgetary and key stakeholder management.
- Support Global Customer Hospitality programmes in line with global commercial, marketing objectives and compliance in conjunction with local Country & Regional Marketing Managers.
- Support internal communication plan to ensure partnerships fully engage global employees and strategy in conjunction with Marketing Manager, HR and other Functional Managers across the business.
- Liaise with sponsorship third party suppliers to ensure that sponsorship content and events meet specific objectives.
- Work with Head of Global Sponsorships to implement cost effective partnership give-away / merchandise strategy including purchase and distribution, ensuring optimum customer relationships.
- Support Head of Global Sponsorships to develop integrated marketing campaigns that fully support existing and future partnership portfolio strategy surrounding Cool & Progressive, Purpose & Mass Participation.
- Provide source data to aid post campaign evaluation and research as and when required.
- Work with Head of Global Sponsorships to develop corporate literature, advertising and digital marketing assets in line with Global Brand Services and overall Guidelines ensuring core partnership shared values are fully conveyed and engage the desired target audience.
- Support the Head of Global Sponsorships with the organisation of Media Purchase and placement ensuring quality, timeliness and progressing relationships with media suppliers as part of position development.
- Ensure filing, maintenance and distribution of marketing material including competitor information and DHL literature.
- Support Global countries with adhoc Sponsorship requests ensuring all activity is delivered to agreed deadline and budget.
WHAT YOU BRING
- 3 - 5 years sponsorship, marketing or project management related experience either client side or agency.
- Business degree with Marketing specialisation would be an advantage.
- Ability to communicate in English - verbal and written
