Responsibilities
What are the key responsibilities in this role?
- Provide leadership and people management to a large 24x7 team of compliance managers and analysts
- Ensure effective management of all team deliverables
- Directly supervise a team of compliance managers
- Drive the denied parties screening and high risk country shipments processes globally in line with requirements ensuring risks are effectively managed
- Identify and agree with global compliance management the long and short term needs from the compliance screening teams
- Proactively liaise and engage with internal and external stakeholders
- Maintain oversight and detailed knowledge of processes performed by the screening team
- Deliver complex change management projects relating to trade compliance
- Ensure adherence to defined processes and in conjunction with global export control requirements
- Collaborate with compliance senior management to deliver strategic results
- Design, develop and review compliance screening processes and procedures
- Monitor and ensure achievement of key performance indicators
- Drive innovation and opportunities to leverage latest technology to enhance the trade compliance management system to respond to the needs of the business
- Support in resource management and staffing planning
