Position Summary: To provide extensive customs brokerage services in accordance with Canada Customs and other government departments (OGD) regulations and legislation pertaining to over sixty acts of legislation relating to International Trade; including but not limited to high and low value (HVS/ LVS) entry processing and customer consulting.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
- College/ Cegep diploma or equivalency
- CCS accreditation/ certification (Required)
- Two (2) years of Brokerage Experience (Required)
- Must be able to lift 70lbs and maneuver packaged weighing up to 150lbs with proper equipment.
- Able to control emotions in adverse situations
- Excellent communication skills, both oral and written, and interpersonal skills required
- Flexible
- Good negotiation skills
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong time management, planning organization skills
- Basic testing of: Microsoft excel (Basic), Alpha numeric typing test.

HOURS DETAILS: Monday to Friday from roughly 6:00am to 3:00pm, start and end times may very.
