Amazon@Whole Foods is looking for a passionate and innovative Technical Program Manager to join our newly formed Digital Engineering Services team. This team will be deployed against some of our most complex and challenging projects and will deliver innovative technical solutions. We have an opportunity to revolutionize on-line shopping and set new standards for accessing the highest quality organic and natural groceries on-online.
As the TPM, you will be a key member of tech team and will need to drive forward the technology across Amazon to create a best in class online grocery shopping experience.

Our team's mandate is to launch and accelerate the digital eCommerce and Mobile channels, offering a differentiated customer experience. The Role: Everyone on the team needs to be entrepreneurial, wear many hats and work in a highly collaborative environment. As a TPM, you will help tackle a diverse landscape of challenges. We are an early-stage initiative, and you will play an active role in translating business requirements into concrete timelines and prototyping concepts in partnership with Amazon, technology leaders within the team and across the business.

You will:
Own program vision and direction: You identify problems and develop solutions; you embrace performance metrics and measurement techniques because they help you assess how well system-related services are running.
Lead beyond your team: You will be a key part of a small but growing community of engineering leaders who support their teams and contribute to the overall growth of our product development organization. You'll share your experience and technical acumen in order to drive technology decisions across our organization.
You will be working alongside some of the smartest engineers at Amazon and Whole Foods. Most importantly you’ll be contributing to our Higher Purpose of Nourishing People and the Planet!
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
· 7+ years of experience working directly with engineering teams
· Experience managing projects across cross functional teams, building sustainable processes and coordinating release schedules
· 5+ years of technical program management experience
· Bachelor's degree in related technical field. Preference is for candidates to have a Computer Science degree.
· 5+ years of relevant work experience in technical program in a consumer electronics environment. With specific experience in defining projects, collecting requirements, coordinating efforts to scope, schedule, and deploy new features sets
· Experience as technical program management lead in end-to-end development and shipping of consumer electronic products
· Experience launching eCommerce products from end to end
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience building complex software systems that have been successfully delivered to customers
- Knowledge of professional software engineering practices & best practices for the full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations
- Ability to take a project from scoping requirements through actual launch of the project
- Experience in communicating with users, other technical teams, and management to collect requirements, describe software product features, and technical designs
- Experience with distributed computing and enterprise-wide systems
- Excellent communication, collaboration, reporting, analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong sense of ownership, urgency, and drive
