Job summary
We are looking for an innovative, results-oriented, hands-on Sr. Program Manager to help us define and develop global programs focused on employee engagement and retention - improving the employee experience in our technical organization to make us Earth’s Best Employer. The Sr. Program Manager will implement mechanisms to track employee engagement goals of the org, identify and solve headcount tracking gaps, create and implement mechanisms for deeper employee engagement including team update newsletters, employee recognition, employee-to-director listening sessions, technical lunch and learns, and identify and communicate upskilling opportunities to allow employees to share ideas, share knowledge, gain skills, and form stronger org-wide connections.
Key job responsibilities
- Ensure that all hiring reqs have a corresponding PID to guard against accidental over-hiring of outside talent
- Identify opportunities to upskill our existing talent with a view to developing skills and promoting from within
- Provide consistent, executive-level reporting on project/program statuses and be flexible to reprioritize as business needs emerge
- Partner with internal and external stakeholders to enhance learning opportunities and career pathways programs for our talent
- Earn trust across a range of levels and disciplines by implementing programs e.g. org wide employee recognition, monthly/quarterly org newsletters, gathering engaging all-hands content and speakers, and arranging small group listening sessions between directors and staff
- Track success through anonymous surveys and report back to VP with trends revealed and suggested solutions

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 5+ years of experience in program or project management
- Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements
- Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership
- 5+ years of experience in program or project management

- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- 5+ years’ experience driving multi-organizational projects, from initial concept to final deliverable managing various stakeholders
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience successfully leading and developing global programs and initiatives in virtual settings
- Experience creating and using analytics to make informed decisions, and report objectives and results on programs
- Demonstrated communication skills (both verbal and written) across all levels of the business
- Demonstrated ability to adapt quickly to changes in direction and be able to effectively manage conflicting priorities
- Proven ability to influence without authority, think proactively, handle ambiguity, and function independently
