Job Summary - Essential Duties/Responsibilities:
- Under close supervision, designs, develops, troubleshoots and debugs less complex software programs for enhancements and new products
- Responsible for routine concept design through the full development life cycle
- Prepares and conducts systems programming test requiring interfacing and software tests
- Work with a variety of languages and platforms such as Javascript, Typescript, Salesforce, APEX, as well as SQL and noSQL databases, and any integrations needed for these systems
- Collaborate with product managers to understand and guide our clients' end-to-end business processes and map recommendations so that clients can review and provide feedback
- Develop comprehensive configuration designs, use cases, test conditions, and training documentation to support the successful implementation architecture for business usage improvements, scalability, and performance
- Write unit tests, specs, integration tests, UI tests, and acceptance tests
- Advocate for new or improved development practices that increase craftsmanship, availability, resilience, and scalability of our solutions
Job Specific Information:
- As a Salesforce Software Engineer you will be responsible for developing scalable applications using Apex, Lightning Components, Lightning Web Components, Salesforce cloud services, and other force.com technologies
- You will be responsible for working alongside team members to develop new application features and enhance existing code
- You will also be supporting launched applications in the production environment
Skills/Knowledge/Experience Considered a Plus:
- Experience in multiple aspects of Force.com programming as well as an understanding of HTML, JavaScript and CSS, as well as Salesforce best practices and security
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree / equivalent in computer science, engineering, information systems, a related field or equivalent formal training or work experience.
- Knowledge of basic principles, theories, concepts and techniques in information technology or engineering involvement. A related advanced degree may offset the related experience requirements.
Domicile: This position can be domiciled anywhere in the United States.
Remote Work: The ability to work remotely within the United States may be available based on business need.
Relocation: Relocation assistance may be available based on business need.
