Are you an extraordinary designer who can translate complex business concepts into clear, concise and appealing content? Amazon's Customer Service Instructional Design team is looking for an exceptional instructional designer with superb critical thinking skills, excellent judgment, up-to-date designing skills and knowledge of authoring tools. The Sr. ID responsibilities include: Performing needs and task analyses, scope projects, and evaluate existing documentation to identify the most appropriate training approach and content to meet the learning needs of Amazon Customer Service Associates located at multiple global locations. You will design, develop, and evaluate training for multiple modalities and a global audience. You will prioritize effectively to manage multiple concurrent projects and initiatives through the full instructional design process, while collaborating effectively with other teams and subject matter experts (SMEs) to support launches of new products and services, as well as supporting enhancements to existing products and services. Impeccable language skills is a must. S/he will have demonstrated project management experience and the organizational discipline to track and manage ID work for several complex projects simultaneously. A bachelor's degree in a relevant field 1-4 years of experience in a major corporate training environment, including instructional design projects for multiple teams or groups Knowledge and proven application of learner-centered, performance-based instructional theories and adult learning principles in face-to-face, virtual classroom, and self-directed eLearning modalities Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills Strong self-directed project management skills · Preferred Qualifications Preferred Job Qualifications - Intermediate HTML and Adobe Photoshop skills preferred - A background in taxonomy a must - Graphic design experience desired - Background in Operational Excellence or Lean is desired - Language/writing skills is a must. Experience on game-based learning developments and Articulate 360 expertise will score an edge.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
Certificate or degree in Instructional design
Relevant experience in the field 2-5 years
Proficiency in written English
Excellent communication skills
Knowledge of all design theories, principles and must have had implemented them
Knowledge of ADDIE and experience in implementation
Experience in gamified content creation preferred
Thorough knowledge of authoring tools
Experience in working with SMEs and cross functional teams
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Intermediate HTML and Adobe Photoshop skills preferred - A background in taxonomy desired - Graphic design experience desired - Background in Operational Excellence or Lean is desired
