Designs, codes, tests and deploys software in all layers of the development life cycle. Provides the necessary documentation. Works with databases, APIs, servers, networks and various programming languages. Mentors those in less senior positions.
Skills/Knowledge/Experience Considered a Plus:
- Ability to collaborate with business partners and various IT teams to design, code, test, and deliver enterprise/global native mobile solutions
- Knowledge and experience in all aspects of the software development lifecycle, including Agile and Waterfall methodologies
- Experience building Mobile applications on the Google Android platform and developing solutions that consider personalization, globalization, application level security/vulnerability protection, analytics, and integrating with APIs
- Strong technical skills and experience using native mobile app development technologies, languages, libraries, and tools like Java, Kotlin, GitLab, Jenkins, Sonarcube, HP Fortify, Lint, Firebase, etc
- Excellent communication and presentation skills with experience presenting to non-technical and technical audiences
- Knowledge and experience working on SAFe/Agile programs and Scrum teams
- Experience defining, implementing, and maintaining a DevSecOps culture while executing continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) processes
- Experience coordinating projects across multiple teams and organizations, and multiple locales including offshore vendor resources
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree, in computer science, engineering, information systems or related field and/or equivalent formal training or work experience. Four (4) years qualifying work experience in information technology or engineering environment. A related advanced degree may offset the related experience requirements.
Domicile: This position will be domiciled in Plano, TX (Dallas area) or remote.
Remote Work: The ability to work remotely within the United States may be available based on business need.
Relocation: Relocation assistance may be available based on business need.
