About the role:
Principal Consultant acts as an ambassador for the product internally and externally and as the primary contact for queries related to the product. Collaborates with BUIT to analyze the Business needs and align product roadmap to reflect strategic goals, discuss and agree with BUIT priorities within the projects and product enhancements. Acts in the Scrum Master role to organize sprint planning meetings, manage daily stand ups and sprint retrospective.
Your work:
• Understand customer requirements and business objectives & solve product-related problems
• Provide strategic advice on using technology to achieve goals
• Cooperate with PMs & consultants to gather projects/ changes updates to be able to maintain and present Product pipeline, Risks and Priorities to BUIT
• Act in a role of squad JIRA authority
• Lead squad team stand ups/ groomings – inform the team about Product Roadmap, projects, priorities and the latest product updates or SI team updates
• Ensure knowledge sharing, documentation availability within the squad
• Suggest and implement improvements within the squad organization
• Inspire and motivate people within the squad
• Work closely with the Line Manager to ensure balance of product knowledge and team utilization
• Work closely with the Line Manager to solve product issues and escalations
• Cooperate with Solution Support to ensure “smooth product production”
• Ensure product 3rd level support according to the SLA & maintain 3rd LS allocations

• Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage, influence, and inspire partners and stakeholders

• Ability to manage teams and individuals across regions
• Accountable for the created product(s)
• Understanding and experience with Agile methodologies
• Project management experience is an advantage
• Interpersonal skills and developing relationships with team members and customers
