Job summary
We are looking for an exceptional UX Designer to help build a Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) solution for Global Private Brands. Product development in Private Brands is a complex and global process. Some of the steps involved in getting a product from inception to the customer include Product design, Quality certification, Third-party and in-house testing, Mass production, Finalizing product label and packing, government approval (if ingestible), etc. Finally, since this is a WW platform, the unique international requirements add another layer of complexity. These different workflows involve intricate sub-tasks and interactions with different retail systems, making this a truly multifaceted and challenging capability with deep connections across many systems. The goal of this platform is to improve speed, reduce the time to market, and enhance productivity across Amazon's product development process. You will work with stakeholders across the US, EU, & IN in Hardlines, Softlines, and Consumables Private Brands to define requirements and gain alignment to deliver a seamless product experience.
What do we expect you to do? You will contribute to the long-term vision of the PLM solution and will shape the way different WW stakeholders and external partners interact with the PLM solution. You will collaborate with engineers, product managers, senior executives and business stakeholders throughout the strategy, design, and development lifecycle. You will also contribute to the product roadmap, drive future concepts, and deliver CX enhancements. In this role, collaboration and product ownership is essential, requiring you to be a great communicator, and successfully present and align with a variety of stakeholders. Additionally, you must be able to work with ambiguity and deliver designs that elevate the PLM CX as a whole.
Key job responsibilities
· Collaborate with PMs to understand business needs and customer problems
· Conduct light-weight usability and user research
· Contribute to product vision with holistic design thinking
· Design user flows, wireframes, mockups, and sometimes prototypes
· Contribute or update existing UX patterns to the applications design system
· Participate in implementation reviews to make sure your designs are implemented by developers with a high degree of accuracy and quality
· Participate in weekly design team review meeting to raise the bar on your and the teams design work

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
· At least 3+ years of experience as a user experience designer, interaction designer, or similar UX-related role
· Experience creating prototypes or highly detailed wireframes for complex operations software
· Experience with user interface patterns for web
· An online portfolio or samples of work demonstrating relevant experience
· Fluency in best practices for information architecture and interaction design, and user-centered design process, as well as strong knowledge of user experience principles and techniques
· Strong verbal communication and presentation skills
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
· Experienced in best practices for information architecture and interaction design, user-centered design process, as well as strong knowledge of user experience principles, techniques and patterns
· Strong time-management skills and the ability to be self-directed when needed
· Demonstrated history of acquiring user data (e.g., conducting usability studies, performing user research)
· Experience with UX design for complex workflows for technical customers
· Experience working in a collaborative team and working directly with developers for implementation of designs
· Experienced in delivering UX solutions for projects of large scope and complexity
· Ability to prototype in HTML, JavaScript, and CSS
· Bachelor or Master's degree in design, human-computer interaction (HCI), or equivalent degree
