Job Summary
This position is responsible for Leading and facilitating product/process development and commercialization activities for assigned projects or product categories by leading project teams and serving as a technical resource to support the company’s new product pipeline mainly focusing on First-to-File & First-to-Market products.
The incumbent will lead product/process development for immediate release and modified release solid oral dosage forms interfacing with cross functional teams.The Manager will supervise and mentor a team of scientists and scientific leaders for product development activities.

- Ensure adherence of team members (direct reports) with all compliance programs and company policies and procedures.
- Review and approve batch documents for experimental, pilot, pivotal batches.
- Liase with QA to address gaps/deviations by adopting appropriate departmental and corporate procedures.
- Liaises regularly with cross functional teams to ensure the delivery timelines of projects are being met.

Job Requirements
- University degree in Chemistry, Pharmacy, Pharmaceutical Technology, Chemical Engineering or related science.
- Minimum 10 years working experience in the pharmaceutical industry, with a minimum of 7 years in a formulations development.
- Supervisory and management experience is required for this role.
- Understanding of GMPs, SOPs, WIs.
- Strong verbal and written English communication skills.
- Experience using microcomputers, preferably Microsoft Office.
