Qualification
(i) First Class Master of Science (M.Sc.) Degree in Botany or Plant Sciences from any of the UGC approved Universities in India. (ii) Doctoral research fellowship from UGC-CSIR or any other reputed research-funding agency, with an assured minimum fellowship duration of 18 months remaining at the time of application.

Age
Limit
As on 01/01/2021 - 36 years. Age relaxation of five years in the case of scheduled caste/scheduled tribe candidates and three years in the case of other backward communities as per government rules will be given.
Desirable
Qualifications
(i) Working knowledge in Malayalam language and proficiency in English language. (ii) Preference will be given for those who have prior research experience in bamboo diversity conservation or propagation.
