Qualification
(i) Post-Graduate in Engineering, (urban/regional) Planning/City Planning/Urban Policy/ Governance/Urban Development/ Management or equivalent Social Sciences (relevant to urban development) from reputed institute. (ii) At least 8 years of overall work experience in Indian cities with at least 3 years of experience in leadership roles working through the lifecycle of projects including design, planning, management, monitoring, capacity building, evaluation and reporting. (iii) Experience working with Indian national, state level and municipal governments in projects related to resilience, climate adaptation, mitigation, data collection/analysis, information systems and capacity building. (iv) Extensive conceptual and practical knowledge of government processes both at the national and regional and city level is expected. Experience of working and collaborating with non-governmental stakeholders, international agencies in the urban sector will be an added advantage. (v) Should have contributed to the national or state level policy (vi) Have experience in preparation of strategy documents, policy guidelines and detailed project reports (vii) Good analytical and knowledge management skills including writing and presentation skills. (viii) Ability to communicate ideas clearly, strategically and sensitively with internal and external stakeholders. Ability to prepare communication strategy and implement the same. (ix) Experience of managing teams and budgets.
Pay
Scale
At par with the industry standards, depending on experience and skills. Proof of past remuneration will have to be provided upon offer.

Responsibilities
(i) To provide strategic operational guidance on P4 activities (ii) To support implementation of national level activities, monitor state/city activities and provide technical support to them wherever needed (iii) To support in resource mobilization for project activities (iv) To support in partnership development and networking with and between public, government (national/state/local), civil society, private sector stakeholders, academia, donors, etc. (v) To monitor and report project activities as well as provide quality assurance (vi) To manage and work as a team with other project partners (vii) Any other related responsibilities, as assigned.
