Resourcing is the process of finding and acquiring skilled and capable people to suit our business needs and requirements. At DHL Supply Chain, our Regional and Central resourcing teams focus on internal and external appointments at all levels - from Colleague to Executive, across the regions for both Operational and Functional roles. The Resourcing Centre team is here to helpthe DHL Supply Chain business with all of their resourcing needs.

As the Resourcing Business Partner you will work with Senior and Executive stakeholders, sometimes board members, from our business based in countries all over the world. This can also bring along new challenge such as different process due to legal reasons specific to a certain country or cultural differences which can mean you need to adapt your working ways to ensure each and every culture is being respected.

One skill that will be paramount to the success of this role is the ability to manage your stakeholders and forge career long relationships. This community of people are made up of a diverse mixture of experience, backgrounds and priorities. You will be tasked with being able to understand each of their requirements to be able to correctly prioritise the work load, whilst managing their expectations and delivering on the promises made. This role is so much more than finding and hiring the right candidate. There many tasks that simply add value but aren't relay quantifiable such as educating your stakeholders on the new processes and ways of working to ensure efficiency and accuracy. You will become involved in our performance review process, so we can support with succession planning and employee development and then supporting with the everyday recruitment needs.

Other key responsibilities in this role include:

  • Developing and maintaining effective working relationships with key recruitment service providers & external agencies
  • Pro-actively work to attract and directly source top quality candidates and build candidate talent pools.
  • Utilize all available direct sourcing tools to ensure a quality candidate pipeline.
  • Manage the full end-to-end recruitment cycle from initial hiring manager briefing through to offer management.
  • Work with Senior Stakeholders on all recruitment related activities including market mapping.
  • Build effective relationships with the internal hiring community to fully understand the needs of the business.
  • Identify & communicate continuous improvement opportunities and strategies.
  • Act as trusted partner in regards to all hiring related matters.
  • Track & log all recruitment activity accurately on the Recruitment Tracking tool.
  • Regularly updating all hiring managers on the status of your allocated requisitions with accurate reporting.
  • Work with the wider Global Talent Acquisition team

  • Previous experience in an in-house or agency recruitment role at a senior or executive level is required
  • Proven customer & stakeholder engagementabilities at all levels (up to and including Senior/Director/VP level)– required
  • Creative and capable of planning with a high level of attention to detail.
  • Ambassador for the best possible candidate experience through professional recruitment practices.
  • Ability to effectively adapt to new technology and use it efficiently.
  • Familiarity with applicant tracking systems.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English (other additional European languages a plus).
  • Experience interpreting data and reporting.
  • Experience in a global corporate environment is desirable.
